Emory Winship Cancer Institute membership includes more than 165 faculty members from Emory University School of Medicine from a cross-section of disciplines, including the Rollins School of Public Health, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and the Department of Chemistry. Virtually all of these faculty are engaged in clinical or basic research, and most are collaborators on translational research projects. Research encompasses cancer prevention, oncology, pediatric oncology, molecular therapy, immunology, and cancer genetics. A group of seven shared core facilities provides high technology services open to investigators throughout Emory University.
